I’ve got the purple and the white but I might’ve lost the white one or my son stole it lol. Don’t like seeing Reece in the portal but so far this cycle has been totally different nation wide. After everything shakes out we’ll get the story on why it’s gone down the way it has. I’ve seen a lot of reporters/youtube people putting out theories as to why and they make sense but it’s still just speculation right now.

The latest on some guys on the reportedly contacted by LSU list.
Looks like he is Tennessee, was reportedly still on campus yesterday afternoon.
Not much on him and LSU, but Ohio State feels like they are out.
Yesterday, the thinking was that this was an NC State vs UNC battle, but he is now reportedly visiting Kentucky.
Visiting Seton Hall this weekend.
Committed to Loyola Chicago
Completed visits at Ole Miss and UCLA. Most think he is UCLA bound.
Visited UNLV, not much on him, and LSU out there.
Reportedly visiting NC State
NBA or Duke, but still think LSU is a legit player.
Baylor vs. Wisconsin battle.
Kansas thinks he is coming back.

Man, wish we had an idea as to a number of players who would be on the roster. This shite kind of weird. I honestly thought he was gonna get a few big fish out the gate with money and starting spot available and an SEC school. Hope there is an onslaught of silent signees and they all announcing on the same day!

Yeah, it's a numbers game, and the numbers aren't in LSU's favor. Nearly 80 of the Top 100 are off the board. Of the 20 or so left, only a few are supposedly interested in LSU. Maybe Wade closes the deal on Graves, Dioubate, Hill, and McNeil? That would be an awesome core to build around. The other thing, lots of highly regarded lower-level guys, the kind that I thought Wade would be feasting on, have already signed as well.
Wade has the benefit of the doubt when it comes to building a roster. However, I do think it is legit to have some concerns about next season at this point.

Don’t worry much about what’s in the portal right now. Or even the names on our board. I wouldn’t expect Mcneil to be a tiger as of now but we are in a really good spot for Graves. Duke is more so the ones on the outside looking in.

Another thing working against LSU is that most of the best players want to play on contenders. It is hard to commit to a team with no players. That may indicate that we’ll announce a bunch together, rather than signing a stud to help attract others. I don’t think a player like Graves would sign without any idea of who he’ll be playing with. Duke is already loaded, and will be a contender. It’s tough to compete against that unless you’re only in it for the money. I would expect that type of player to only sign contingent on some other players being signed.
