Ruzic has to be excited that Dessert and Levy get to play and he doesn’t have to play 40 minutes again.

I hope Dessert and Niang meet or exceed expectations. I've seen enough to know Ruzic can play.

Ruzic is only a freshman. Has a chance to develop into a special player.

He's 20 years old, so not really in the sense of a true freshman necessarily, but he should have 4 years of eligibility I believe.

We might be lucky to get more than 2 years out of him though.

Should we go after WV’s Honor Huff who is seeking an additional year of eligibility

I would assume Ruzic is one of the three key pieces Wade mentioned he’s expecting to come back

I hope the football team is winning by the time the basketball game tips, or there will be a lot of bitter trolls in the basketball game thread

I’m gonna move the bedroom TV into the living room so I don’t miss anything.

285lbs, close to Shaq’s size as a freshman. He had 13pts, 21rebs and 3 blocks vs Auburn.

Would want to see if he’s with the team today. Think his clearance is an age issue and so probably a little longer to progress.

I would expect Ruzic, Mo, Ugo and Bashir to be big pieces back next year.

dessert really struggled to find space and get the ball down low. also doesn't look very fast. maybe he is adapting to a different type of game.

Did anyone watch the exhibition today? I only saw a few clips. Looks like Clark had a good shooting day.

Dent and Clark went off. Both over 20 I believe. I still say there is no way Ruzic should be coming off the bench. He moves his feet way better than Dessert or Niang. He’s gonna be really good. They didn’t play great defense and rebounding was atrocious, but still had the ball with 2 seconds left to try and tie or win the game

Rebounding was much better in the 2nd half. Only gave up 2-3 Off Reb in the 2nd half. FT were also a huge factor, we left 4-6 points at the line easily.

Defense struggled at times, but FSU also made a lot of contested shots.

Would like to see Dessert get a few games under his belt. The 2-3 zone that FSU played at times bothered him. Seemed to be a step slow, but my guess is a few games will shake off some rust and he’ll be fine.

Niang got a foul on the tip off and it felt like that kept him from playing aggressive. Same as Dessert, hoping there is some rust to shake off.

Clark and Dent (assuming eligibility) will be one of the best back courts in the league.

We turned it over 5 more times than FSU, gave up 7 more offensive rebounds, and missed 7 FT’s (shooting just over 50%).

FSU really capitalized on the Off Reb and turnovers, crushing us on second chance points and points off turnovers.

All that said, we had the ball with a chance to win or tie at the end.

FSU is long, athletic and very physical. They crashed the offensive glass and made a lot of contested shots. Expect them to finish in the top 1/2 of the ACC.
