My junior high and high school coaches had much more installed than McMahon. Many multiples of what he ran.
He ran maybe 2-3 different plays and the rest was chickens running around with their heads cutoff untill someone finally heaved a bad percentage shot right before the clock went out. This was almost every single possession.
Not much more to add because it was evident to anyone who understands basketball just a little.

Yeah, so the offense was actually ranked in the 85th percentile in the country. 58th. Over 80ppg. Pretty efficient, especially considering you lost 2 of your top 3 scorers early on in the season.
The team defense was atrocious, it was literally like 300th in the country. We we're one of the worst teams in the country defending the 3.
So it actually shows that you and everyone else that "knows basketball" was watching a completely different game. That's what's becoming evident.
Alot of basketball is going to be "repetitive", usually everyone knows what every team is running. LSU offensively executed pretty well, all things considered.
Little league is baseball, not basketball.
Please make it stop.
I'm sitting here having to defend a shitty team because people say stuff that's just flat out not true.

Do u think that perhaps that ppg number was inflated in non conference by playing school of the deaf and blind almost every game? We were 14/16th in SEC play in ppg

McMahon's strategy was basically to have a point guard that is the best player on the court and abuse the opposing defense with high ball screens over and over again. That's an okay plan if you have Ja Morant playing in the OVC (or if you're playing SWAC schools), but it was never going to be viable in the SEC.

“Coach” aka Mr. Villanova offense doesn’t understand how to properly qualify statistics. For proof, ask him who led the sec in assists per game last year.

Qualify them only how you want them to be? So it didn’t matter 2 of our top scorers were pretty much out from the jump of our conference schedule? You only want to argue stuff that fits your argument and you ignore others.
Im still waiting on you to break down offensive schematics for me, since all you can do is try to discredit someone on a message board. Weird.

No. How every intelligent person qualifies them. Normalized for strength of schedule and with a minimum number of games played for per game statistics or minimum number of attempts for percentages. Including the SEC. Assists Per Game

Now Reed is a top 2 scorer? It’s amazing the things these deluded people will convince themselves of and actually think others won’t notice. Just like bb and his imaginary injuries to players that never happened. What’s even more insane is they won’t realize that there’s some kind of Mandela effect they’ve created for themselves and they’ll just keep making shite up and ignoring reality all for the worst coach in program history. - his era was the worst in history and they defended it which made them look worse
- they blamed it all on Wade, now Wade is back and that’s going to expose their blame game as false and biased so they’re really pissed now
This is why they’re wishing for the worst. Their credibility is gone but if Wade can fail year 1 they think it’ll allow them to claw some of it back. They don’t care about LSU or McMahon, this whole charade is about making fools of themselves and not being able to accept it.
