It's gonna be ok. Wade knows what he's doing and will put a quality team on the floor. He's a lot smarter than he looks.
YOU ARE hoping Wade is successful, right?

Regardless what the roster ends up being, does ANYBODY think this year’s on-court product won’t be better than the last four years?

Thanks for defending Wade. I was really starting to doubt him...
I just pointed out that the timing of the court ruling isn't ideal for teams that are still waiting on the NCAA to clear international players. That isn't a criticism of Wade.

The flip side of this post: over 300 players have signed some form of NBA free agent contract. Including obvious guard upgrade for Wade and LSU, Quadir Copeland, who signed a two-way contract.

We would hope so, but there are concerns until the roster is expanded and finalized. There aare only eight players on the current roster and half are international players whose eligibility has not been confirmed. Even if they are deemed eligible they could not afford to lose two starters to injury / illness as occurred the last two seasons.
It will also be intersting to see how quickly half of a roster with older foreign professional players with no college experience blends with transfer players wh come from different programs some of whom were only part time role players. Its also concerning that only one player currently signed averaged double figures.

Rest assured. This upcoming season will be better than ANY of the last four horror show seasons we as fans were forced to put with up with.
Not worried in the slightest. We have a real coach now.

I don't think anyone is honestly questioning this. It's pretty much unanimous agreement that there will be more passion and intensity around the program and a better product on the floor.
Speculating about the roster on August 1, when a new court order has just come down and none of the internationals have been cleared, isn't the same as saying, "We are going to suck next season!"

Where are the announcements of them signing with LSU? Where are the pics of them at offseason workouts?
Other teams with more intact rosters are playing exhibition games. Why did Arkansas not play Muurinen on Friday in the Bahamas?

The Razorbacks played without 5-star freshman Miikka Muurinen as he awaits NCAA eligibility clearance.
These guys have not been cleared. Guys like Muurinen and Ruzik are clearly eligible under the new international player guidance. It's very frustrating that they haven't been cleared.

Mike Walz
Would be a solid rotational addition. His BPR was in the Sutton/Reed range last season.

Sutton averaged 13.8 and 6.6 rebounds last season. Walz' stats are probably closer to Reed's in a limited sample size although he was playing limited minutes as he was recovering hs season ending injury the prior year.
