Jalen Reece, consensus four-star and top 100 PG, is set to make his decision today. After receiving many predictions from college basketball insiders it's looking like McMahon has locked up his point guard for the '25 class. Assuming he joins the class, this would be the third top 100 recruit for McMahon this cycle, and will put us in the top 10 for On3 and 247 rankings. With the high possibility of Chris Cenac joining the class, we may be getting Mcmahon's first top 5 ranked recruiting class at LSU. I don't have a time or link for his commitment today but if I find it I will update the thread.

At 6'0 Reece is a quick and twitchy facilitator that can also create his own shot beyond the arc. With a quick first step he is also good at getting to the rim when needed.

It is difficult to tell speed as the highlights are shot from under the basket, but he definitely looks strong, able to play through contact.
Nice pickup. Next year we will have Givens and Reece at pg with Mike Williams able to handle the position as an experience combo guard. PG is very important for any college team.

He has recruited well. All he needs to do now is win as much or more than Wade did.

the ones who say that are the ones who are still 3 years later butt hurt over LSU firing Will Wade. They think he was gods gift to basketball and MM can't make a layup.

Recruiting is only part of the equation. McMahon has yet to accomplish anything of note on the court at LSU.
Oh wait, we got blown out in the first round of the NIT last year on our home court by a mid-major. If we are not in the NCAA tournament this year, he should be on the hot seat!
