Reminds me of big Elbert Robinson III

On another note, any truth to the Jordan Wright rumors? Maybe we can add his name to the OP

Looks like he would be a 6th year player. He shot nearly 50% overall last season, 42% from 3, and 85% from the FT line, while averaging nearly 18 ppg. He was 1st team all conference and was one of the best offensive players in the league. However, he played in a relatively weak conference, and generally shot below 30% from 3 against the better competition. That's not the end all, be all of analysis, but you are trying to project how a guy might perform with a steep increase in the level of competition.

One of the top players in the transfer portal, Cobe Williams rejoins head coach Eric Konkol at Tulsa. 6-foot guard averaged 18.8 pts, 4.1 assists, 2.0 steals in 22-23 and has scored 1,210 career points.

Thought Cobe might be a good guard option for LSU but never saw anything connecting him to LSU. Now it looks like he was always going to Tulsa.

Recruiting is largely about "connections", but maybe more so in the transfer portal.

McMahon will likely have ties to guys in the southeast/Appalachian area. Particularly guys in conferences like the OVC, SoCon, etc. Cody Toppert (assistant coach) looks like have some connections to the Northeast (LSU was on a few guys from that area in the portal last season). Asst. Coach Ronnie Hamilton came to LSU from Ole Miss. Ole Miss had a few guys enter the portal recently Jaemyn Brakefield (top 50 player who transferred from Duke) and Amaree Abram (PG originally from Texas). Of course, they have a great HC coming in so they may choose to stay.

He does look like a solid player. Primo Spears would be my favorite, but there aren't any local ties.

I kinda feel like I am in a holding spot right now, not knowing which players are staying at LSU or not. Obviously the coach has a better insight and judging by his actions 2 or 3 might be moving on. Kinda surprised we haven't heard anything. Obviously no one was just waiting for the season to end to jump ship which is a positive sign.

Is Corey Chest good enough to make any impact next season? I feel like people forget about him and how highly ranked he is when talking about next season team and saying no one any good is coming in.

Definitely has the size and athleticism to play in the SEC. I don’t think anyone is down on him he’s just not a guy that is big difference maker as a freshman. He could definitely have a role and contribute next season

Saw Ledlum play this year. I'm no hoops expert, but he had the look of a guy who would fit nicely at a Power 5.

Lsu should spend all their resources on top players from lesser leagues.

A few of the guys on montana state could play at lsu. They need to do what kansas state did.
