Dessert speaks good English. Niang speaks French I think, and grew up in Italy. Guessing Santos speaks at least Italian. Between the three of them Dessert should be able to keep the comms going!

ETA: Maybe Santos is Spanish, hell I don’t know.

Though he likely speaks multiple languages, I’d imagine his primary language is Portuguese

Yes, that makes sense. Lots of European folks speak multiple languages it seems. I’m sure the General has a plan.

in basically all of these scenarios, the players involved speak English. because if you play in a euro squad in Spain and there is a greek dude and a Lithuanian dude and the coach is Serbian, you all really need to agree on a main language. and for basically everyone, its English. like if you are polish and playing in Spain, you are not gonna learn Spanish. you learn English. its the world's second language. there will be no issues.

In my experience traveling outside the US, almost everyone other than fellow English first countries speak two or three or more languages and one of those is always English.

It’s a bit humbling when you are in some small island and they speak 5 languages and you just speak one lol

I’ve traveled to a bunch of countries in Europe, and I have had to use other languages to communicate. I speak a little French and am fluent in Spanish.

I’ve traveled a lot too and usually, not always but usually if you attempt to communicate in native tongue and they see it’s going to be a struggle, they will use English. Not perfect but enough to get through what you need.

Santos is a Brazilian. The national and most common language spoken in Brazil is Portuguese. However, he also speaks fluent English...as many international players do
