When i said first real two way player I mean first player who actually pitches and hits at LSU for Jay.
I also see a much clearer path to playing time on the mound next year but I don't think Nawrocki or Jay are giving up on him hitting either.

they are going to see this and i’m sure Jay already knows he hit .532 as a senior lol..his bat is legit and may be more enticing than his pitching ability

Yeah, Nawrocki is different.
Skenes was too good of a pitcher. Evans/Guidry were too poor of hitters (though Guidry was on the two way trajectory before Shores/Edwards went down). Brown was barely hitting 90 on the mound and was too good of an athlete.
Nawrocki was hitting balls 110 mph with wood and throwing 95 from the left side. If anyone could be a two way guy, I think the situational LHP could be it. That said, I don't really know where he fits into the lineup as a freshman. LF/DH/1B are all taken. Maybe he could beat out Laya/Patrick/Wachs (whoever loses CF) for the RF spot.
Or could also start on Sundays and we never see him in the batters box.

Most good high school pitchers are freaky hitters too. Hirschkorn hit like .550 too in California. They are the best athletes on the field.

I think Nawrocki is why Jay hasn't been foot on the gas for LHP. We have some LHP on the roster already that should make a jump, some LHP either on the roster or in talks with that could be dudes, some LHP that could make it through the draft, and now Nawrocki. Trust the process, boys.

Latest Kiley McDaniel mock seems just far too favorable: LINK
Curiel at 11, Schmidt at 38, Santarelli at 41, and Jake Brown at 65.
Specifically mentioned Hirschkorn as someone who may be tough to sign.
No mention of any other signees, and this is for the first 2 rounds plus comp round A and B. I know the 3rd and 4th could kill us, but it could be worse.
