I use "elite" for MIF for guys like Milam. Not taking anything away from Kurland, but I think saying he's elite is a stretch.
Dugas seems to be a more apt comparison as opposed to Dickinson or Dardar.

His comparison to Dardar wasn’t with play style or stats, it was strictly just saying that he can’t stay healthy and always has some type of nagging injury that keeps him from his full potential.

McDaniel will probably lose the top 5, we will be lucky to get one of the top 5. We will probably get 75% of the top tier. That would align with 6-8.

Also would align with that jay hadn’t just gone and taken a lot of transfers to fill the roster. In your opinion how many freshman do you see making it to campus. Ik Armstrong has been saying 13 but if his numbers of total recruits is off it’s hard to judge what he has said

You have a class of 25 if you include the one JUCO. I think we will lose 8, leaving 17.
We will see after the draft but the numbers are still high to me. I think there might be subtractions from our roster or signing class.

I see it like this. I see the 5 mentioned by McDaniel as gone. There is another group around 9 players that are draft risk. According to Jay we will lose 1-3 from that group of 9.
If we lose 3, it's okay but not great. We shouldn't complain about losing 2 out of 9. If we lose only 1 out of 9, giving a total of 6 loses, we should be very pleased.

Yeah I’ve been hard stuck on us losing 6-8 for a while after looking at rankings from everyone and comparing to previous years.

How you figure? There's a clear cut competitor at 2B already in the program that bats left handed. Ruckert will be given plenty of chances to earn playing time and if he doesn't, Kurland establishes a nice floor

Kurland isnt being brought in for a 5th season to sit the bench, he’ll have first crack at 2nd. Im sure what lester means is he’ll have to falter quite a bit there for ruckert to take over. Ruckert prob has a better shot at 3rd, assuming no injuries to kurland

So easy for people to throw out accusations like that and say "sources told me". Kid's agent could be shopping him around for all we know.
