I've refreshed this thread too many times today

If somebody told me that was Griffin Herring, I would believe them.

I'm guessing Jay is holding exit interviews today and/or tomorrow and we will likely learn about any new LSU portal entrants in the coming days and then dominos might start falling. Hopefully several Tiger Emojis in the next week.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Mack cancelled his visit with us? Haven't seen anyone say it in here yet. was wondering if it was just a Twitter rumor

We appear to be turning up the heat on Lachenmayer.

56ks to 18 walks from the left side as a freshman is great. That's a take for sure

Fitzgerald stayed there right? Hadn't followed the coaching carousel on baseball much

Yes. He was the RC when Hogg committed to us, so it makes sense.

that’s dope
checked his post, what are the odds a kid from Minnesota has pictures of him at like 7 in LSU gear?

Looked at his outing from when he pitched here and it wasn't bad at all.

The game thread from that game was highly complimentary of him. I looked at it a few weeks ago, don't have a link handy now. But a lot of it was "remember this guy during portal season."

By my count, Lachenmayer pitched against 5 tournament teams this season: DBU, Bama, LSU, Kansas, and Creighton. He faced Creighton 3 times, everyone else once.
LSU: 1.2 IP, 2 ER, 3 K, 1 BB, 1 H
DBU: 2 IP, 0 ER, 5 K, 0 BB, 0 H
Bama: 1.2 IP, 2 ER, 1 K, 0 BB, 3 H (1 HR)
Kansas: 2 IP, 0 ER, 3 K, 1 BB, 1 H, 1 WP, saved a 1-run game
Creighton: 2.2 IP, 0 ER (1 R), 4 K, 0 BB, 3 H, 1 HBP
Total: 10 IP, 4 ER (5 R), 16 K, 2 BB, 8 H (1 1HR), 1 HBP, 1 WP
Against LSU on 3/4:
* Came in with runners on 2nd and 3rd, 2 outs in the 6th, and struck out Frey.
* Clean 7th with a K.
* Gave up a 1-out walk to Bear on a breaking ball up in the zone on a full count followed by a single to Dickinson before being lifted.
* Next pitcher walked John Pearson and then gave up a double to Milam that allowed both of Lachenmayer's runs to score.
