would agree with this; many of the big fish it was their draft year and others stayed put where they were...

Just looked up Stokes. I like what he has to offer. Up to 99mph on FB

Arrambide and Serna in b2b years is an incredible haul
Landon Hodge is also a stud. I wonder what that means for him

Project, when you say Moffet should go to Northwestern do you think he’s not SEC caliber? I remember the suddenness of Moffet’s departure from LSU and I think it makes people forget that he was coming on strong late in the year. Odd that he would walk away from Yeskie just as he was beginning to be trusted.

Starting 3B Trent Caraway is transferring from Oregon state. Beavs think he’s going into the draft but he is a sophomore.

I think moffett needs to go to a high academic school where he can get a lot of innings

He was? I remember him getting roughed up in Hoover.

From what I have seen researching some of these guys Hodge is athletic enough to be projected as a corner OF also. Perfect game has him listed as C/2B but that is the only place I’ve seen 2B mentioned.

is there any concern Serna won’t stick at Catcher?
Our 1B and Dh this year were “catchers” in high school

Could be. Sounds like he is very similar to Arrambide. Recieving and blocking will need some work but with a little work ethic scouts seem like he can stick behind the plate.

So was Alex Bregman, what’s your point?

that Catcher is a spot recruits fall out off pretty often and 1 of Serma and Hodge will likely find their way to the field elsewhere
Hodge bats left too so if he can play any infield position he’s a commodity

I’ve heard Jay say Arrambide could play some OF or 1B.

lots of power in that bat I could see
him playing other positions on his off day from catching

Moffett had the one game in early May against A&M, where he shut them out for 3+ innings. We were all pretty hopeful that he was finally coming around. But then he had that bad outing in Hoover against SC.
