Only thing I've found is "arm injury". Guessing it wasn't a major one because of it was, I think they'd be not specific.

Per Ryler Smart’s twitter account, he first started throwing post op in August 2024. Surgery while he was still in HS. Should be safe to expect him to be fully recovered come start of next season, February 2026.
