I have a feeling we got the worst of grant Taylor , which sucks. Usually you get the best of a player in college and then it’s tougher for them in the pros and minors . We got grant as a freshman then he makes a leap in the fall and gets hurt before the season

The only one I’ve noticed going off is Pearson

I’m hearing after the weekend staff is feeling really good about Holman and increasingly better about Monty.
They feel like we have a shot to get both.
No my sources are not the same as Kendals

If we get Montgomery who plays. Idk how you don’t play Kling or Pearson unless Bingham DHs

People that don’t know what they’re talking about give Josh Pearson shite.
Pearson is an ELITE outfielder. He can absolutely fly and has a cannon. I don’t know what people want him to do. He’s gonna be a top 3 round draft pick.

Left Paxton after 3 at bats to come watch Josh and Jared in Chatham. Got a little Geaux Tigers from Josh just now when he spotted my national champions shirt. Lol

I'd really like to see Pax find his stroke as this past year he was taking too many good mistake pitches and swinging at pitches low and away or up by the letters. We really need him to hit consistently this year. Hope he shows out in this summer league!

The OF will be very interesting next year if we add Montgomery.

Pearson had a hell of a freshman year and started to settle into form in the back half of his sophomore year.

Kling is a 5 tool player that has a chance to have his name called on day one of the draft.

Bingham could potentially be an All-SEC player if he improves on his junior year.

We also have a plethora of talented young freshman coming in.

Very good problems to have

Taking Montgomery seems like a stretch to me as well. Especially if we turned down hill because of a clogged infield. In my opinion, the OF is even more clogged with Bingham coming in and klings potential
Only reason I could see us bringing in Montgomery is because of his intangibles. The dude is super intelligent and has Omaha experience.
I also think Jay likes bringing in transfers who will get drafted high because he can sell that in recruiting

Let's be honest no matter how "clogged" the outfield is. You take a guy like Montgomery without a doubt
