TIFWIW:
A close friend of mine is connected to some of the boosters so he called and asked them about waldrep
They told him that they had outbid Florida by about 25 Thousand and an announcement could come in the next weeks
: I'm not claiming he committed,(could still pick UF because of his girl) just passing along what I heard:

Cade Winquest to Oregon. Another one we made contact with but not sure how heavily we pursued.

USC hired the HC from Grand Canyon. Solid pickup for them

Yeah, he’s a really good coach.

GCU has really good facilities and invests in sports. I wouldn’t be surprised if they got a relatively big name there.

I was honestly surprised that he decided to leave GCU for USC. Obviously USC baseball has a lot of history, but they've fallen behind in recent years. They're also turning the baseball field into an Olympic swimming pool, and just joined the Big 10.

Yeah, on the surface, usc isnt really a better job than grand canyon, at least to me. But maybe they are making a better commitment to baseball?

Waldrep would be so nasty.

Is the Creighton kid most likely going pro now?

Its hard to say without knowing what his number is to sign. But there is definitely a chance we lose him

I think one of the posters said he would go pro if offered a bag of donuts and a cola. lol

He is a covid senior. He is ready to start his pro career if given the opportunity. Unless he gets shafted in the draft, which is unlikely, he will go pro.

Not to be a Debbie downer, but Hurd has health question marks and Little hasn't put it together yet. This is why Waldrep would be a really nice addition. I don't know much about Williams but he is highly ranked on D1baseball.

Yes, Alex Williams. I'm not sure what year he is in or what our odds of landing him are but D1baseball has him ranked higher than Waldrep for what that is worth.

He would be a 5th year senior. He mostly works a fastball and changeup.

He didnt have overpowering stuff, but was really good most of the season. He struggled down the stretch,in my opinion, because his arm got burnt out. They had him throw over 115 pitches on 3 separate occasions. I completely disagree that he is ahead of waldrep though.
