Are the LSU Signees expected to sign Pro Contracts Espino, Hinds & Hampton?

Those are the three that I don’t expect at LSU. There may be 1-2 more who will get calls very early.

Espino and Hinds are attending the draft I believe so pretty obvious what their intentions are. I’m still holding out hope that Hampton makes it to campus.

I think best case we can hope for is losing Espino/Hinds and praying Hampton doesn't get drafted today. Most realistic is probably losing those 3, potentially 1 more.

Here are the ones I'm interested in:
Phillips, Travinski, Cairo, Doughty.
Travinski hit a HR in summer league last night. Toups is doing well in summer league also. Doughty and Torres start summer league this week.
I feel good about the position players in this class. I think we'll lose some pitchers, but if we don't churn the roster we will be fine there.
In general I hope we don't have a lot of attrition.

I think only Espino is attending the draft ( LINK), but I agree that it's unlikely that Hinds ends up on campus. He doesn't even mention LSU in this recent profile on him:

I would say the obvious few are Smith, Watson, Hess, and possibly Peterson. Garza, Beck, and a couple others are eligible but I don't think I see anyone else leaving unless it is suggested to them by the staff.

Hinds on the MLB draft. Certainly doesn't sound like he's considering going through the draft process again in a few years.
