Referring to the UCLA pitcher I assume—looking any more likely today than yesterday? Only got about 21 hours.

I haven’t found anything about the likelihood of him signing with the giants. I know they can offer a little over 1.5.
The only talk anywhere about him and LSU is this thread. Unless this info has been taken to pay board somewhere.

Thanks for the update. I knew it would take a lot to get him. Turning down a 7 figure bonus to go to a place you’ve probably never visited is a lot to ask.

We gotta get another starter type guy. After Washburn going to Old Piss and now Silva signing Pro I don't know who else that's a real quality arm that's out there. What are our other options at pitching we can go after?
