LSU doesn’t have any QBs. If a QB recruit comes in and thinks there aren’t going to be at least 2 more joining him, then they may not be smart enough to play the position.
I’m sure Lane hung with him before leaving and will do so when he gets back bc he’s here for 2 days I believe.

Why? You act like this is LSU trying to sell LSU….this is LSU evaluating players to see if they are a fit for the team, the scheme, and the brand.

If I had to guess, the plan is to bring in two, with Leavitt’s injury they may want something closer to a 1A & 1B than a QB1 & QB2, Leavitt got a little butt hurt in a Farve/Rodgers, Rodgers/Love sort of way and wanted to keep his options open & take other visits.
But Landen is probably up to speed with knowing the plan, the chance to compete and if he doesn’t get the job, he’s on deck and gets to learn under SL for a season.
TLDR - Landen was told the plan, realizes we need 2 and was ok with Kiffin heading to Knoxville

If I went on a two-day job interview for one of at least two open positions in my field, knew the company was looking for at least two immediately, and met with my potential direct supervisor and his boss, I would not feel the least bit slighted if the CEO of the company would not meet with me until day two because he was trying to close the deal on the other position with a candidate who had already interviewed and was much more qualified than I.
