Stuff like this is why I rarely keep up with football recruits until the ink dries. The entitlement with these kids makes it hard to like them to be honest. Drama and pageantry is for women, fellas.

Can we just remove the word “commit” entirely from college athletics. Does it really mean anything?
I agree totally, they should make it when you commit you have to shut your recruitment down and can’t make any contact with any other school.

He currently holds a LSU money bag in his hand. Of course, if another school is willing to hand him a heavier money bag, he will likely drop the LSU bag.

One of the main highlights I got from my visit was Dan Lanning. Honestly, it's no gimmicks, it's no fakeness. He is certainly the truth
WTF does this even mean? Most coaches are pumping the greatness of their program and blowing sunshine up every recruit's arse about what a great opportunity they will have, showing them how many players they are putting in the NFL and promising NIL deals - all that shite. What exactly is Lanning telling Moses that is different than every other coach?

Wasn't Moses the one guy that everyone said was a complete lock and was recruiting FOR LSU with other guys?
What the hell happened?

Isn't his dad the "God King" attorney? Presumably someone could advise BK who they are dealing with, what the last recruitment process involving this family was like. He should assume this kid won't make it to campus, or will be a giant headache if he does

quote:Underwood, Berry, Ross and about 5 others that are higher rated than Moses coming on board. His role in the class is not what he thought it would be. Maybe the coaches have cooled on him, maybe he isnt working like the others and they should have? Or maybe he is a pretty dramatic.

I dont know, but I just wish they would stop with the bullshite. I do pay attention less and less.

LSU still holds his verbal commitment. He’s never said other wise.
Dylan was a verbal commit to LSU at one time too. That doesn't mean much, ma'am.

Let the kid enjoy his recruiting process, yall some miserable, entitled clowns that never had the talent or never produced kids with talent. If he wants to enjoy his process and experience all the perks, let him do it in peace. Ya'll Fanatics do the most...

I really expect this to smooth over.

It won’t smooth over easily if Mama keeps posting on social media. Her analogies thus far aren’t apples to apples and will invite further pushback from Tiger fans whose self esteem is tied to Moses coming here.

I admittedly don't know any details
I was trying to be positive

gaslighting
That's exactly what it is.
There's nothing wrong with wanting to take visits and see other places. There's nothing even wrong with wanting the best deal.
But when you take to social media to blame coaches for you wanting the best deal, that's textbook throwing rocks and hiding your hands.

Did I see this correctly. Does the ‘no fakeness” imply that LSU coaches are fake?
This crosses a line for me.

That's kind of where I'm leaning. Have fun, enjoy the process, get your money. But respect matters, and this is disrespectful. BK will handle it how he chooses, but this borderline personal.

Moses: I am 1000% committed to LSU and will be a leader in making this the greatest class ever!
Moses: Eh, I'm going to take visits to other schools
Moses: These other schools and coaches are amazing! Maybe I'll come here. Maybe not!
Moses: I NEED CONSISTENCY MAINTAINED!

The list of All Americans LSU would have missed if this were the rule would startle you. Jamarr Chase is the obvious recent example, and not sure we win the 2019 natty without him.
McKinley would be at A&M today with this rule.
Or do you just intend to apply this rule to LSU commits only?

You sir don't understand what the word COMMITMENT means.

In the context of college recruitment I do.
It means, "at present I accept your offer to join your program; however, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time for any reason since I have not signed a LOI".
Do I like that interpretation? No, but it's probably more accurate than yours.
Here's the other truth. Programs can tell a "commitment" that he needs to look for another program when they find a better prospect and need the room. Do you have a problem with that?
