Westlake is a UT feeder school. Going to be hard for anyone to pull him out of the area.

My nephew is the QB at Westlake Kirkland Michaux and I can tell you that they are not a feeder for UT. Drew Brees, Nick Foles, Baker Mayfield did not go to UT . Nephew is 6'5 230 lbs he lost his jr. season due to growth fracture in his spine "Pars Fracture" and therefore missed out on major recruiting period but he's having a stellar Senior season and has many offers to look at....including baseball offers...Jaden Greathouse will be a name you will hear about for next 3 years...Will Wade is drooling over his BB skills

Only way Brees, Mayfield or Foles were going to Texas was if they paid their own way. They weren't offered or likely recruited at all by Texas.

This thread had me interested cause I know the parents. Step father just text me he wants to play both basketball and Football which is understandable for a stud athlete to want at a young age. As he grows he said If any school takes him out of the receiver spot he is just going to play basketball. Dude is 14 and I know his momma she is 6 Ft father is 6’4 kid will be 6’6 or better and built like a shithouse.

So it sounds like he likes basketball more than football. If he has nba potential then the money is better. But might as well be a two sport guy at LSU on your way there
