Great news. That's a huge piece.

Still prolly need 1 more Safety & an OT. Maybe even that backup TE from A&M as icing on the cake.

Would be a great get.
Wondering if the check book balance is getting kind of low.
Maybe BK go fund me drive will help with a new deposit.

This would be big. Our biggest position of need. I hope we land 2 safeties.

What is his remaining eligibility?
I see he was at Maryland prior to NC St

He only has 2 games with logged stats at MD and is currently listed as a FR so it has to be 3 yrs.

Doesn't he have three years left if he wants to stay in CFB? If so that's a good longer term play by CBK in a position he loves.

I don’t believe you only have “three” tight ends before the season starts.

You need four and that includes Tredez whom needs to add weight.

Bordelon will be the fourt. His arse ain’t seeing the field at guard next year.

Barring injury, we probably have the two pass-catching TE's we need in Sharp and Green. Bordelon could definitely get time at blocking TE. He did it this year some.

The biggest problem with Bordelon playing that position is that when he's in the game, it's almost a dead giveaway that we are running. That's why I hope we get the TE from A&M!

One of LSU's biggest problems is coaching. They need to fix that first. For example, LSU is soft AF. That comes from coaching.

They can sign all the players they want out of the portal, but if they're going to be a soft AF football team, then it won't matter.

Additionally, to add to your “dead-giveaway on what the play is,” comment, if you had a three-down tight ends before that can catch and block, that’s the way you stymie a defense.

But putting Bordelon in, if he cannot catch or run adequately, then why put him in?
