That's just it buddy. That why u not a coach at LSU is cause u good wit it. To get to national championship. U need depth, u need good skill players. That is the reason why bama didn't go to the big game this season cause they good with it like you :)

He just started a playoff game over the other 2 he’ll be competing against? Why the hell would he transfer?

Why would Curry transfer? I guess that could be said about pretty much any position. If Brennan transfers we will be fricked at quarterback.

Welcome back from 2-3 weeks ago.

Curry concerns were from when we thought we were getting Evans (#1 recruit) and Curry hadn’t been given any touches.

But PLEASE give us more of your ridiculous takes.

Jontre Kirklin would be a great fit at RB in this offense. He's probably better there than that wide receiver. He played running quarterback in High School and is very elusive. We shouldn't reach for a running back in this class. If one is there that is worthy of the pick then take him, otherwise save the spot for next year.

Think this will be one of them. We haven't pushed and he's a legacy. And he's better than Wheaton. Wheaton's speed catches attention.

Cody Brown from GA is one we likely push for. There's a kid or 2 instate that will get a hard look.

Still must and will take one this year.

If depth is such a concern, at some point a JC or grad transfer becomes the best option.

its not a must. RB is one position where a true freshman can come in and play. We have Curry Emory and Price at running back for 2020 and 2021. We have other players already on the team that would thrive at running back in this offense if we got in a pinch. It would be good to get a running back in this class, but it's not a must. More times than not a RB in this offense is just another receiver and blocker any way.

He hasn’t played all year before then. And he’s clearly the least talented or the 3. I’m not saying he’s out the door but he was clearly passed up and it will just reset next year when they pass him up this offseason.

Regardless they need a 4th RB. You don’t want to be caught off guard

We need a fourth or it is poor roster management. This is a clear cut situation and I’m glad there is still some good talent available for us to pursue.

This isnt NCAA 14 where guys don't get hurt and you can get by with limited numbers. We saw this year that "freshmen can come in and play" isn't always true. Sure they can take a few carries but in this offense if they can't catch or pass protect they aren't ready. TDP and Emery are more talented than any back we will bringing this class, aside from Evans, and they weren't and still aren't ready for a major load.

Moving guys from another position puts in a position like Texas was in most of the year. That's not good roster management. It also hurts depth at the position you take the player from.

Exactly there’s still lots of good talent out there so LSU won’t have to reach. I can guarantee that the staff had and has had a plan the entire time and likely still has several fall back options if they can’t pull in one of the higher ranked guys.

There is just no way the staff said we’ll get Evans so no need for us to pursue anyone else. You’re not being very reasonable if you actually believe this. This staff has previously showed their forward thinking in recruiting and with building this programs future.

Watch what I’m telling you guys. LSU will end up with one of the best QBs in this 2020 class even though there were much higher ranked kids throughout the class. We have one of the more football smart, more humble, coachable, competitive, tough kids in this class. Which also happens to have an accurate arm with plenty of strength and is mobile enough to extend plays or get you 5-10 yards if needed.

We also happen to have one of the more natural gifted QB’s in the class and if he develops will be a real nightmare to defend. Our staff is extremely competent when it comes to recruiting and analyzing talent who will fit the programs future. I think we can find a RB or two that fits as well.

If we can not sign a great back this year we will be in a great position to get who we want next year.

Why sign somebody that you know will likely never play.

Because you absolutely need the depth. You cannot go into a season with 3 scholarship backs.

He was actually RB5 until Lanard left the team. Exhibit A of how unexpected stuff happenings throughout the year.

Sure was, but wasn’t going to rub it in anymore.

Hey I hope he sticks. He’s a solid RB3 in the SEC

But he has to weigh what happened vs Oklahoma vs what happened the other 13 games. He has to know the other guys are set to be 1-2
