wade was anticipating this im sure. if not he would have signed some other players. I feel like hes pretty much saying you can either play well enough to play for me or not and if you cant im not bending ,ill figure a way out to have all guys who can play for me the way I want them to play

Baseball, the only two Jay would probably consider is Chris Stanfield and Zac Cowan. Cowan was drafted by the Guardians in the 19th round, and signed.
Chris went undrafted and I don’t believe signed a FA deal. Outfield is loaded, but he’s a Champion, so couldn’t hurt.

It has been for decades, it's just been disguised fairly well.
It's never going back to it's roots. The next step is actually making these dudes pros that represent the universities, not even being students necessarily.

The NCAA knew damn well when the 5 for 5 rule was passed that seniors would file this suit, and win. Their attorneys said as much. But the powers in charge passed it as written. They are obstinate.

This rule reduces scholarships for high school athletes. Theoretically a redshirted player still takes up a spot and redshirts have been eliminated. The increased scholarship limits eased this concern.
