To be fair, that is worth absolutely nothing.

Let's say that you are being honest, and that a friend did tell you that, it doesn't mean that he is not lying his arse off or passing on bad information.

Why would he do that? I don't know but people do it all the time. Everyone likes to have their inside sources. It makes them feel good I guess.

We have all watched posters on this site provide inside information or perspective that was proven to be bold faced lies.

So you may have intended to pass on information, but I wouldn't take it personally that people opt no to buy into what you are saying strictly off of face value.

Take it fwiw.

ETA: TO be fair to you, people on here can really be jerks.

damn, you're annoying as shite.

Exactly. It happens everywhere anywhere in the world.

There are plenty of kids in LA who go to Texas schools, or kids in Boston who go to California schools, or US citizens who live in other countries.

Second hand sources are not always the best. Folks have all sorts of motivations to twist things to suit their fancy. Having written that, just hope he ends up in P&G.

His dad was a regular poster up until 1 year ago. He's posted 1x this year.

My guess is Dylan started leaning towards Alabama and his dad stopped posting because, once it became official he was decommitting, the inevitable badgering from LSU fans would have commenced.

It boggles my mind how young men can grow up in BR being around the pride and tradition of LSU and have even the slightest interest in playing for bama. I know we don't have a true rival, but if we did it would be bama considering all the crap that's gone down in recent years. Forget about the coaches, we need players with heart!

If there was a HS literally on Alabama's campus, putting out stud D1A players, there would be zero chance in hell that any would attend LSU if Alabama was offering.

Alabama has a much larger recruiting budget and team than LSU has. Nick Saban wins most of his championships on signing days, not Saturdays in the fall.

True

So why no increase our recruiting budget and personnel?

I think there is a rule about contact with players being limited to coaches (which is limited position), but not sure.

Agree. It's going to be a dog fight with Bama but he'll end up at LSU. The way our 2016 class is shaping up, we are poised to win the SEC several times in a row. Quoting Steve Spurrier, " Son, you can either come to Florida and win with us or go to another school and get beat by us."

Not this shite again. Recruiting budget does not equal recruiting success, and the numbers prove that.

And to all of you freaking out, Dylan has visited LSU numerous times this season and hasn't visited anyone else. This kid is Clowney 2.0 and he wants the ESPN circus that only an uncommitted player can get, but every action he's taken indicates LSU is still way out front. Every update sonny and shea do on him reads exactly the same... Hanging out with the committed guys, not just the visitors, having a great time, decked out in LSU gear.

I could see him retiring in a couple years and maybe doing some TV stuff, but the guy isn't coaching anywhere else.

God that would be awful. I still have a lot of respect for Saban and what he did for LSU, but he would be absolutely awful at TV. I can imagine him sitting there for hours looking like he smells a taco bell fart and giving curt one word answers when the other hosts ask a question.

It seems like this year has really worn on him and a change of scenery may not be out of the question.

Saban does seem to be a bit more bad tempered lately. And while I still think he retires at Bama (hopefully soon!), I wouldn't be surprised if he bolted either.

I wish he goes to lsu but I get a bama feel here. Going off of others who chose bama they always said lsu is family and with bama its a buisness decision. He Says he can see himself playing linebacker in there defense and atmosphere roaming one field to the other but lsu it's always family so this will be a buisness decision. I hope I'm wrong though.
