He is a raw talent 18 year old kid in a Michigan offense. I personally think Kiffen would do wonders with him.

Purple and gold glasses aside, I understand that the game at this level is a business. Every kid we stole from another school did the same thing to that school.

Perfect analogy and exactly what this situation was. To add to Exxon paying twice as much, it’s a 5 minute drive to work while the Dow job is over by Hahnville.

As a backup development piece yes. He hasn’t proven he can play at this level

e wasn’t great this season and he swerved us for more money. I’m sure we can find someone better in the portal. Stay in Michigan man

I'd take him at a discount. But he wasn't anything to write home about this past year. He also didn't have a good offense, much like LSU.

No, not for $12 million. Why would we want him now after he committed to us, decommitted, flipped, and strung us along? He wasn't about the program, the school, he was all about himself and the big bucks. No thanks, he can stay where he is.

Nope. He picked his side. He can see us when he sees us

Every player in the portal picked a side at one point. What a dumb take.

If Lanes wants him and get him, I’m good with it. If he wants someone else and gets them, I’m good with that too.

You have a coach that turned a D2 QB into a very good QB. Underwood is very talented. If given the opportunity, you definitely take a chance.

shite, I wish I worked at ExxonMobil, its the closest plant to my house. But here I am stuck with a great job at Dow, but a 1.5hr commute every afternoon... God I hate Baton Rouge traffic...

That was one God awful conservative play calling all season long, and it culminated during the Ohio State game. They practically tried to hide Underwood, which meant the game was over before it even started.

Underwood has ELITE potential. Untapped potential.

I’m not saying he’s a busy, but busts do exist. IMO depends on what his price tag is.

I’d take that in a heartbeat. Russell was a very good QB at LSU.
