Still, I wonder why Miles said Benton did not have an offer?

My only guess is that he knew Benton was signing with Auburn. Benton sent his letter in. Miles has no reason to keep the offer.
I wonder if we'll ever know the whole story.

I have concluded that Bradshaw was upset with Benton in a huge way, because was hoodwinking even him..and LSU
Bradshaw worked with Benton for 2 years to go to LSU, that LSU stood by him..
and then bailed 3 weeks ago,and then lied about his commitment to LSU days before NSD.
I still can't figure out what RR Dad was upset about on the Radio, perhaps he learned about Benton bailing on LSU and just got Miles attention?
It is nuts,
Doesn't all add up

I don't think that Randle's father knew that Benton had committed to Auburn when he said all of that. I think it was just a case of Benton deciding to go elsewhere several weeks before, and with a bit of irony Benton wasn't going to go to LSU the whole time.

You know if i was a top recruit in the nation and had my choice of any school.... being from LA i would obviously choose LSU... but the enticing offers would be teams like USC(beaches and Beautiful women) Florida(same) or maybe Notre Dame(unreal tradition) My question is what are some of our decommits thinking???? i mean Auburn? Bama? Tenn????

dmitch you have a class act through all this. I appreciate your frankness. I have to admit I'm concerned about Bradshaw. He has been a big friend to LSU. Will your family be helping to sooth things over? I know Les has some work to do to patch things up but I was wondeing your family will be helping too.
