Going to be tough to beat out Tathan for fourth string on the depth chart.

That's a school that actually needs a qb. Smart move.

Played in Walk On bowl bc they have Walk on talent right now. This won’t fix that disaster. Also, so much for state Martell

Good. I hope he makes them competitive, lest a certain other ACC team have another cakewalk to the plank.

That move really worked out for Tate Martell. Hopefully King has better success.

It’s telling that LSU was even talking to him

How long until Tathan quits football and gets arrested for drunk driving and possession of cocaine?

Kid gets a lot of mileage out of one good season at Houston. Maybe he'd be OK at Miami. Who knows. He's small and quit on his team. But people only look at 50 TDs in the SWAC, or whatever minor league Houston plays in.

Have fun at Miami, or Arkie, or wherever. LSU has a QB and more to come. No want.

We wouldn't be doing our due diligence if we weren't talking to all options at some level. But as I stated back during the season, King wants LSU and has pursued us a whole lot more than the other way.

I'm not sure what some posters think King has done to them but if I was LSU I would definitely at least talk to the guy. Obviously not a long time answer but Burrow turned out pretty well for LSU as a transfer. And basically, King WAS the Houston offense. Don't know the W-L record with and without him in the starting lineup but I'm pretty sure Houston had a lot better record with him playing than not. Same when Ed Oliver played on defense and when he didn't play in games.
