I would be very happy if we can sign two of the three from Duncanville trio. And we were in it until the end with Simmons

I will bet we lose Moore. UT will pony up an unreal amount to keep him instate. Think of a similar situation if we had that high of a recruit in state. We would do anything not to have him leave. Don’t see him here.

But here’s where we differ widely with Texas and frankly many other schools in the SEC, besides maybe Bama. Development of these WRs.

I can name at least 6 or 7 maybe more WRs that most, if not all of these big time receivers will recognize went to LSU, was drafted high and made huge impacts on the NFL level. LSU is one of only about 5 schools in the nation who can say that. Probably more like 3 schools.

Some of LSU’s WRs produced even better once they got to the NFL. That’s a huge selling point for us that not many can match. I’d be telling them why you think they’re offering you so much? They trying to catch up to where LSU already is and they’ve been trying for a very long time.

Look you can take a few thousand more per year at Texas and possibly develop or you can take slightly less here in year number 1 or 2, make star status here and you’ll have all the money you want here at LSU, be nationally recognized as an elite LSU WR, be drafted in the first round and be another LSU WR who is excelling in the NFL.

At LSU you already have the ears and eyes of NFL GM’s and HC’s because we’ve developed a name for ourselves with the NFL for consistently producing some of the best WRs in the country. We’ve done the work for you, all you have to do is work hard and follow the same process we’ve established here. Easy peasy.

the list isn't sorted by ranking.

Moore is 98
Stingley is 100
Collins is 100
Johnson was 99

So when the page says all time recruits, and it has a #2 over his face, then that means what?

Honestly asking…

You in a bad mood? I don't always agree with your takes, but you normally have some reasonable comments. This comment and several others are just strange. And terribly inaccurate. Go do something else for a while.

Underwood will demand a 7 figure deal. Rightfully so. DK’s NIL may rival that. Not sure we have the war chest to hand out two of those types of deals in one cycle.

While everyone is having a nuclear meltdown over us not really signing any home run prospects this year, have you considered that we’re saving some of this year’s money for them?

I wouldn't get too attached to this guy. I agree if Texas comes calling then LSU is going to have to spend more money than they need. It's nice to get these WR, but you have to be smart about where your NIL funds are allocated.

Feels like Texas is going to throw a stupid bag at him before this is done.

Look at the rankings of each commit. Sting was higher, la’el was too. Not sure how that list makes sense. The list basically contradicts itself.

The list ranks each recruit by their 247Sports Composite Score and then alphabetically by last name if there is a tie.

.9996 Leonard Fournette
.9986 Dakorien Moore
.9986 Russell Shepard
.9980 Early Doucet
.9980 Derek Stingley
.9977 La'el Collins
.9977 Patrick Peterson

Bryce Underwood would top the list if he commits and maintains his current 247Sports Composite score.

.9999 Bryce Underwood
.9996 Leonard Fournette
.9986 Dakorien Moore
.9986 Russell Shepard
.9980 Early Doucet
.9980 Derek Stingley
.9977 La'el Collins
.9977 Patrick Peterson

That's a helluva 1-3 punch.

So it’s going by a composite score. Gotcha.

Perrilloux was the #1 dual threat in the country, as I recall

Texas will make a big push but this is similar to the Simmons recruitment. Moore really likes the whole vibe at LSU. If it werent for the opportunities for his brother in Austin I think Simmons signs with LSU.

GMs aren’t looking extra hard at LSU because fans call them WRU.

You think Texas doesn’t have the same eyes on their program? They will be in the SEC next year too so there goes that advantage if it is one. They have Sarkisian who without a doubt will have Texas putting QBs, WRs and RBs in the league with his offense. Take a guess who was OC when D Smith won the heisman and Bama won the NC?
