Here's the latest On3 Texas quote

quote:

"If he wants to stay closer to home and his family, Texas would be the choice. If he decides to leave the state, he’ll be #ColinBatonRouge."

It probably is as simple as that tweet us making it.

Stay by mom and younger brother or go out of state to lsu.

Dallas to Austin: 3 hrs

Dallas to Baton Rouge: 6 hrs

We're not talking about having a layover in Newark.

Mom and bro can still make the games. And I'm sure we've made it clear to them that we'll make it happen.

Our side of the world since he's Texas' to lose. A couple insiders think we have a better shot than most think because Simmons' mom loves Jason Taylor and because we are re-targeting NIL money that was slated for Stewart to go to Simmons.

Almost identical situation as Perkins. Culture win. He just wants to be at LSU.

Isn't that LSU TE Mason Taylor's dad? If so the ole man is always in BR for something.

With a crowded RB room already, I really think he signs with Texas, this kid wants to start from the get go. I hope I'm wrong. But I think he goes elsewhere.

Colin Simmons isn’t a RB. His teammate, Caden Durham is a RB and is likely picking LSU over OU

Come on man. If you going to post please get it right. And since you brought up th RB position you would be elated to get Durham even if Simmons goes elsewhere.

We lose a lot of guys in the backfield after this season. Emery, Williams, and Cain are in there last year. Goodwin and Diggs would be seniors. I don’t think our rb depth will be a problem next year.
