Can anyone confirm that Gordon and MAPP upped their NIL package for Bussey last night?

I didn’t know MAPP Construction was an NIL source for LSU. But apparently late last night the Bussey camp was presented a tremendous offer. A&M can match of course, but didn’t know if anyone had any insight on MAPP’s level of involvement/commitment

This is sad that this is what's happening to college football. I know all schools are doing it. But damn there needs to be some limits.

I want Bussey, and it’s not my money.
So offer him 1 billion if you want, who cares.

With that said.
This setup is so damn lame now.

If true, at least LSU is playing the game. As they say, don’t hate the player, hate the game.

Meh... its just out in the open now. Been this way for decades.

Worst part now is the transfer portal. There use to be a consequence for leaving a program and it made these kids much more accountable. Now at the first sign of trouble they can bounce.. makes it tough on coaches too.

I don't care either way, but it has never been like this. You never had companies like MAPP and Gordon giving potentially millions to players. You never had public-traded companies involved.

It was against the rules, and that precluded a large percentage of alumni and companies getting involved. It was also mostly cash payouts, which was an additional barrier.

Sure, you had people getting no-show jobs and $1,000 bucks here and there. Maybe a high-level guy occasionally got a decent amount of money. But to imply that it has always been like this is fantasy land.

Bama used to hand out Dodge vehicles like they were candy. It was always like this. It just has a bright light shown on it now.

Settle down.
There's nothing unusual or sinister about companies trying to better their communities by encouraging promising minority students by offering assistance with higher education expenses.
You guys have become cynical...
