Does Bryce and the other top offensive weapons commit if denbrock leaves for ND?

While it might put a stressor on the situation, I think Sloan is the key to Underwood. He’s talked multiple times about how close they are.

I don’t think it’ll make a huge difference. I think Sloan plays a bigger role in his recruiting than Denbrock.

Bryce is sold on Sloan and LSU under Kelly imo.

I mean, if Denbrock makes this move he is going to try to take Sloan with him.

Sloan is main recruiter

A Sloan-Hankton Co-OC role would actually be pretty advantageous.

That being said, if we lose Denbrock and keep House, everyone on here should be justifiably pissed tf off

So you think Sloan would leave to coach under Denbrock instead of being the OC at Lsu? I don’t see that.

We don't know for sure if BK would hire Sloan as an OC. He's never done that job. I certainly hope he would get the chance, but we are speaking in attenuated hypotheticals. My point is that Denbrock leaving wouldn't be the end of the drama and a great outcome for us is not assured.

Yes he has. He was an OC/Co-OC at LA Tech before he came to LSU.

Curious because I don’t know, how did he do in that role as OC at tech? What were their offensive rankings like?

Oh, my bad. Didn't know he served as OC there. That makes me more confident.

Wonder how much of our offense is Kelly’s doing. He seems to always have really good offenses wherever he’s coaching.
If BK somehow keeps House on, and our worst ever this season D is confused & shitty next season, I’d think BK wouldn’t want to risk having that. Let’s hope our new DC is coaching in the final 4.

I'd be slightly annoyed if for the second time in 5 years after having the top offense in cfb we lost not only the coordinators responsible, but also the top hs QBs who LSU was trending for until the coaches left.

Jayden Daniels made Dembrock look brilliant just like Joe Burrow made Joe Brady look great.

Is Sloan OC material?

Other than Denbrock there's exactly zero ties to anything above the Mason Dixon. He's from VA, went to school at ECU, and has spent more than a decade in Louisiana now... So let's just let that notion go.

His primary recruiter is Joe Sloan. Could see Joe bumped up to OC which I would imagine he a good thing with Bryce's recruitment
