I'd stop recruiting after this too

wild that LSU has even been able to bring in some of the talent they have with Kelly's apathy towards recruiting.

It bodes well for the next guy knowing that any little effort at all should restore to LSU to what it was.

Whatever you think about Woodward I agree with him being irate that BK reportedly used the bye week before South Carolina and Vanderbilt for vacation. That's not the kind of work ethic necessary and it certainly showed up on the field.

Looks like Kelly had obviously mailed it in, but you either hang out in some incredibly saintly circles or you're a loon & that is some spectacular hyperbole.

Another thing I liked about Ed O was, according to Shea, they would have staff meetings dedicated to talking about players they recruited who went elsewhere: what did we not see him; what happened for us to not secure his signature; should we have anticipated that he was going to be so good; thank God we passed on a guy who turned out to be lazy or have a problem with drugs; how did we miss that he was such a beloved leader; were there red flags from the family, from his upbringing; did we underestimate or overestimate a high school injury; was he propped up because of another star on his high school team who got the attention of the opponent’s best player; should we have pushed harder; was our timing off; are we thankful we cut bait or should we have battled until the end; etc

It’s seems LSU kills Head Coaches. Another than Saban who is banging down O, Miles, and now Kelly’s door?

I can tell how righteous you & your people are by your verbose vocabulary.

Using the delegation method can work, but I don't think you win in the SEC by delegating. I jist dont get why someone with a career like he has had didn't make the adjustments he needed to.

Chaisson said he told Orgeron that he couldn’t fit him in for the home visit because he was headed out on an early-morning flight for an official visit to the University of Florida. But Orgeron wasn’t going to take no for an answer.

“I was like, ‘Coach we don’t have time for a home visit. We’re about to head out.’ Man, he came to my house at four in the morning knocking on the door while everybody’s asleep. He made sure he got his visit in,” Chaisson said.

But it didn’t stop there. Orgeron followed Chaisson to the airport and continued making his pitch for LSU.

“He literally followed me to the airport and walked me all the way through TSA and was like, ‘Bro, we got to have you. Please. I know what to do with you,’” Chaisson said.

Orgeron’s passion made all the difference for Chaisson. The fact that LSU was the first school to offer him a scholarship — before he even played a down of varsity football — played a role in his decision to play in Baton Rouge, too.

“I felt like if any coach is going to do all of that, it’s definitely more than a job to him. It’s personal,” Chaisson said.

I miss that about O. If only he could just recruit and be a position coach for us

Say what you will about Orgeron, but that guy was a relentless recruiter back when he cared

Doesn’t make sense to forgive Orgeron.

He quit working just like Kelly. It looked a little different. But it’s the same phenomenon.

You forgive Orgeron because he brought us the greatest football team in LSU(maybe college football) history. BK beat bama in his first year and won a bunch of meaningless bubblegum bowl games. Wasted a heisman trophy winner and 2 first round receivers.

Unless the sources are named I would take it with a grain of salt

We all know Feldman wrote a book with Orgeron and always got information from him. This feels like a conveniently timed hit piece on Woodward/BK
