LSU will host "Boys from the Boot" this weekend but was apparently trying to keep it under wraps. O just said it on OTB.

I'm going to try to find out more about that but that's the first word.

I haven't really followed football recruiting as heavily as I used to, but anecdotally it seems like both the ceiling and depth of the in state class seems to be increasing each year. Anyone else seeing that as well or am I imagining things?

Big fan of the LA 22 and 23 classes. Looking more and more stacked.

I don’t understand keeping the event quiet especially with how COVID kept them from having it last year. Everyone they have established contact with in-state should get an invite.

I understand keeping certain prospects under wraps like big time OOS kids and kids committed to other programs.

Keep it under wraps until the last minute so that other teams don't have as much time to try and convince them not to go?

Just an observation.. 2023 is looking light on DL and OL at the top of instate talent.

Got to land those studs we are in on for 2022.

I think Clean or Lester could help answer that for you. Maybe they will chime in

Either trying to keep it under wraps or scrambling to get something together once they saw every other team in the country was doing something this weekend.

So we are worried that out of state schools are going to prevent instate kids from visiting LSU? That would be a pretty big red flag on where things stand with that prospect.

Could see this being an issue with moss... Bama staff may not want him heading to that

Some y’all were mad we weren’t having something and now y’all are mad because we are. There is probably reasons it’s been kept under wraps. And if it is thrown together, people will still show up because of Walker Howard, Will Campbell, Jacoby Matthews.

It’s cyclical. We’re on an “up” right now but there will be weaker classes in the future. The good news is that LSU is absolutely capitalizing on the strong ‘22 class.

I'm really happy they are having it and i think it was smart to keep it under wraps.

I don't understand why he went on the radio and said something if he was trying to keep it quiet.

Honestly, if they’ve committed to Alabama, they wouldn’t be invited. Don’t need those guys inside my LA camp
