Not true.
We offered Caden Jones (OT) following the second OL/DL camp back in June. He is out of De La Salle, but not yet ranked by recruiting services. From what I have heard, The kid has a good bit of upside potential but is still pretty raw currently.

I can assure you this wasn’t thrown together in haste. Was planned immediately after finding out the open dates by NCAA. I nearly gave it away last night. This event is reason I stated last night that the commit would probably become public by this weekend. We ll see how many Ed allows to go public ..

Im not second guessing anyone. Im laughing at the fact that premium sites were saying it was supposed to be some super secret thing, then the head coach goes on the radio and talks about it. If you don’t see the humor there, then I feel sorry for you.

I don't get the narrative that O accidentally leaked something he wasn't supposed to. O runs LSU football and runs LSU recruiting. If someone told the premium sites to keep it under wraps its was a directive from O. If O wanted the information to come out last minute on the radio, then O said it on the radio. Y'all act as if O is not in control of his own recruiting events.

How bout that national Championship negative Nancy? How bout that coaching hire of an unknown Joe Brady? How bout bringing Joe Burrow to the program and forever changing that position at a school who couldn’t find a QB even if they paid him a billion dollars? How bout keeping a secondary coach who is the elite coach at his position for numerous years when every major college has came a calling? You are just plain stupid. It doesn’t matter what Coach O does it would not be enough for you because all you know is being negative. Ask most universities, other than Alabama and Clemson, and they would take 2019 right now and never look back.
