I know I said this earlier in the thread, but we shouldn't be recruiting tackles that need to drop weight. Someone like this (or Bordelon or even Campbell) that show the athletic ability and frame to add weight are better in the long run.

Ben (and Gemi), with expert consultations, will start working on that size/strength as he grows into his frame. Dont focus on that that weight, not yet. He's going to be a good one. His development has already begun.

Agree with you, ProjectP.
Regarding Cam East, LSU must still be evaluating him because they haven’t extended an offer yet. I hope they don’t slow play it real bad like they did Jardin Gilbert, because Cam already has offers from:
-Florida State,
-Mississippi State,
-Georgia, and
-Arkansas

Still the same name but, the Bollinger's don't own Bollinger Shipyards anymore. Ben is a part owner though. It was bought out a couple of years ago.

Good story about moron and moran. There was a Dr Moran down the bayou. A buddy of mine in high school changed the spelling of the good doctor's name one night. Painted over the A and changed it to O.

Big guys are hard to project. Some maulers just can’t control their weird.
Some 260 point guys put on 40 pounds and are perfect OTs their senior years
Look at a guy like Michael Brockers who was 260 coming out of high school.

I want interior linemen that are mean, nasty and (in some respects) can't control their weird. Those guys should be ready to brawl every play and if it gets weird in the process, so be it as long as they are handling the DL on the other side

He made it clear early on that he wanted to leave the state. There’s nothing they could do about that. The problem is that they didn’t adequately replace him in the class.
It’s good to see that O Line is being correctly prioritized for the 2022 class. Now they just need to get these guys signed.
