Oh I totally agree. I just don’t see Tennessee being that much of a threat like they were with Vitello. That’s all I was meaning by that.

Ignore that guy. Of course Tenn wants him, as does every major program.

There is a difference between wanting and being a threat. I simply said Tennessee is not a threat for players like before with Vitello.

They have their eyes on the Samford kid. Sounders I believe is his name. I live in Knoxville so I know all about who these bozos are on because of my buddies. I hope we snag Watters, Garcia, and Savoie

Something Tennessee supposedly isn’t committing as much to baseball as other programs, which is why Vitello left.

vitello left because he got a once in a lifetime opportunity. college coaches dont get those opportunities as a general rule.

Vitello left for a lot of reasons. The once in a lifetime opportunity provided a better out than any lateral move he could have made. But one of the specific reasons was the lack of commitment from the UT athletic dept and specifically them taking money that was allocated for a baseball player and giving it to Women's Basketball.

He also didn't like having to spend so much time re-recruiting his own roster and the NIL negotiations. But those things happen everywhere now.

I think you will start seeing situations where a women's basketball coach at a school doesn't care for the baseball coach at that school. you will see coaches sucking up to the ads . im sure its happening now at places. I wouldnt be surprised if Kim is getting irritated with the talk of us putting more money into baseball

Seems like TAMU spends as much as anyone in any sport and they have nothing to show for it. One day they'll be able to buy themselves a championship.
