This guy's probably about as close to a Curiel replacement as we're going to find.
IMO, ACC production translates better to the SEC than any other conference. What a guy does against teams like FSU, UNC, Clemson, Louisville, UVA, Miami, etc. is a good indicator of what he'll do in the SEC.
My favorite thing about a guy like this is the big sample size along with the good numbers.

Was kinda hoping Tennessee, Arkansas and a few of these teams would make a run and give us a little bit of a advantage getting ahead on some of these guys. Not a single team from Omaha last year is still in the tournament this year. Thats crazy.

I think a good way to tell the difference between a Dickinson and a simpson, without seeing them play in the sec first, is to look at what their draft projections are.
I dont think its a coincidence that the great players we got out of the portal were on draft boards and the guys that ended up not translating were the ones that had good stats but werent on draft boards .
caraway was a bit of an anomaly because he had a little draft buzz but he was a guy that just got hot the last couple weeks of the season the year before. I think we could have seen it coming with caraway and I believe some of the posters here didnt care for the pickup in the beginning.
pro scouts know what theyre doing,if a guy has the stats and measurables and he isnt getting any draft buzz, theres gotta be a reason for it

He's the best LHH in the portal and might be the best player in the portal to this point. Every program will be going after him.

Here's the thing, no one is going to get all the big fish in any particular year.
But a lot of teams are going to get 1.
There are more teams competing at the top of the market than ever before. 15/16 SEC teams, probably all but a 3 or 4 ACC teams, most of the Big 12, a handful of Big Ten.
All of them can reach way up and grab one guy.
