With Taylor gone, this seems like a 100% take if he is interested.

I seem to remember him being a tough cover two years ago in Tiger Stadium

6 catches 116 yards 2 td's against LSU in 2023, of course our d had something to do with that

Like the comments on-line about Hasz and his time at Arkansas. The comments are much more favorable about Hasz than what I read about the Florida TE. To me, our returning TEs did not block very well. Hope LaFleur can block. Still think we very much need a catching and blocking tight end out of the portal.

He is but do we need that at TE? Wouldn't it be better to sign a cheap but good g4 TE that can mostly block for us with some catching sprinkled in and use more funds to say the safety and wide receiver positions. I just think Hasz will cost quite a bit.

For context, that was 1/2 of his yards and 2/3 of his TDs for 2023.

I agree he's a very good TE though.

He's great, but I'd rather have a cheaper inline blocker and rely on Pimpton and Green for catching the football.

Give me someone who can do both, we become very predictable if TE is inline push the edge only.
