Have me made up ground with Bama in these last two classes?

Is Bama pushing our shite in on both sides of the line now a thing of the past?

we are right where we have been.

We are a 2 TD underdog right now. If we catch lightening in a bottle we can pull an upset.

Offensive line class is really solid. Kardell will be a starting NFL OG one day and several other good prospects. Ray Parker could end up being the OT we've been begging for. Big frame, athletic TE with the body type to be a perfect OT after 25ish more pounds, which shouldn't be hard for him to add.

Defensive line is thin. Ika will be a monster, but after him, there just isn't a bunch to write home about.

That’s a shiny hook you tossed in the water.

I legitimately think Thomas is our only OL recruit that can block anyone they signed and if you remember the AA game reports that might even be a stretch. Folks call Ish slow, lazy etc. but forget he split reps with Thomas. They crushed it and so did Kirby if we're being honest. Jimbo signed an equal class on paper while fighting off Texas, Baylor, TCU and every SEC school with us getting Brooks and guys on here want to be proud of landing 8/10 when you're expected to do that with no instate competition...... and that's why folks are frustrated.

DL:

Livingston
Cherry
Moore
Cotton
Rosenthal
Jenkins
Ika
Fonua
Scott
Evans

OL:

Wire
Traore
Smith
Lewis
Hines
Turner
Thomas
Parker
Bradford
Perry

This is the haul from the last two classes at DL and OL. Pretty good.

our skill position talent is absolutely awesome but that's never been our problem, that's why it's being overshadowed imo. You can have all the fournette's or guices in the world but if you can't compete at the line those 5 star sports cars mean very little.

This, plus Ika, and I only see two 4* or better interior lineman in the bunch (Ika and Cotton). If you're going to close the gap, you have to recruit better than that.

Not enough quality on either the OL or DL.
Both were priorities.

Rosenthal is back on offense and at tackle where he should be! We will be ok this fall on both sides of the line. Maybe strongest in years! In 2020 we have 2 of the top Def line in the country and one is already committed. Forgot his name but he was unblockable in the most recent 5star camp.

You’re forgetting a former 5 star NT! Shelvin

4 OLBs and 1 OL

ETA: And one of the OLBs was last seen practicing at TE.
