Such a childish attention grab. Not a good look for the guy. Is that who he really is?

Are we still discussing this? Ahmad's comments had 0 to do with LSU football. LSU basketball has been trying to shore up their 27 roster before focusing on 28. All he said is he hasn't heard much from the LSU basketball team.

What most of them care about is "is my bag going to even be there in 2027, and if so, how big will it be"

I am growing a little sick of these high maintenance little high school bitch boys and their never ending demand to attention whore.

Go ruin your career in that shithole cornfield in Nebraska. Enjoy the harsh bitter winters and the painted concrete you will be playing on.

Do what you gotta do, son, but you already know that the best opportunity, with the brightest possible future for you, is at LSU.

Now, do us a favor - STFU - get on board - allow our coaches to recruit the other kids that can turn us into a powerhouse, instead of constantly being an attention whore - love LSU - help us recruit other players in your class - quit being selfish, for a change.

Why wouldn’t he be? He’s making 9 mil a year and turned around the program that was 16-31 under Frost to bringing them to two straight bowl games in year two and three. If there’s a coach to bring them back on the map it’s him.

Nebraska isn't "turned around" at 7-6 in back to back seasons. Trust me that fanbase is not happy with the results so far.

I dont think they'd fire him if he went 6-6 this season but if things fell apart at 4-8 or worse, it's possible.

I know this might shock some, but there's still a very large part of that fanbase that thinks they should be competing for playoff appearances. Not just getting to a toilet bowl and being happy. If Rhule cant get them to 8+ wins or more pretty soon (and probably this year soon), he will be on the hotseat probably as soon as 2027 season comes around.

And honestly, easy to call them delusional until recently when Indiana came out of nowhere under Cignetti and question "why not us, we've been there before and look who is there now".

Frost was just an absolute trainwreck there, way worse than he ever should have been. Even Bo Pelini won 9 or 10 games every single year he was there and got fired (7 years).

He turned around a dead program. That’s the facts. I don’t think you know the entire fanbase. Hell some of our fanbase hates the Kiffin hire. Does that mean everyone does?

That’s legitimately insane to think going 19-19 your first three seasons means you’ve turned around a traditional blue blood but okay

It wasn't "dead", they merely hired a terrible coach for a few years. Again, Pelini won 9 or 10 games every single year there for 7 years in a row before Frost.

7-6 isnt "turned around" in the eyes of the Nebraska fanbase. NO I'm not claiming every single one of them are proclaiming he needs win a natty or get to the playoffs ASAP or he's done. I'm simply saying they expect better than 7-6, that's not their "peak" in their mind nor anywhere close to it.

If he has a disaster season this year (like 4-8 or worse), it wouldnt surprise me at all if he got fired. They expect way more. If he doesnt win at least 8 games this year, expect his seat to be red hot in 2027.

Sure, but they haven't been able to win big there in a long time.

Since firing Frank Solich, they have gone 150-125 and haven't had a season over 5 wins in 10 years (since 2016), except for the last two years.

Since firing Pelini in 2014, they are 57-75.

Okay? That’s why I said a traditional blue blood. I think most casual fans understand Nebraska hasn’t been relevant in the 21st century.

Maybe Rhule does turn Nebraska around but 19-19 three years in is arse, even for adjusted standards from the fans.

Well he’s 4-0 and will probably be 5-0 going into Indiana. So Yea he will be.

Nebraska has played Ohio, North Dakota, Bowling Green, and Michigan State lol. What a weird, stupid flex. Come back after they play Oregon, Indiana, Ohio State, and Iowa.

Dominating each my man! Rhule is a fantastic program builder and college coach. It’s not hard to see.

A few years? When Nebraska was last good I was in high school and I’m a man, I’m 40 now.

Again, we are talking about North Dakota, Ohio, bowling green, and Michigan State. They are still likely losing, best case scenario, 3 games. They could very well lose 6 games.

“I’m not getting enough attention”

Yeah no thanks. Go to Nebraska. If a player in 2026 is seriously considering Nebraska, he doesn’t give a crap about winning. Go disappear into irrelevance.
