What is CBK waiting on? Pull the trigger! You’re #1 recruitment class fell apart so you you have that money to use. Start pulling the trigger or these top tier players are going to be gone!

I'm not asserting anything. I'm flat out telling you that they weren't the reason he went to Mizzou and they won't be the reason he comes here.
It was an NIL play there. And it will be an NIL play wherever he goes.

Just another reason why I don't have any reaction/interest for high school recruiting. No point in following it.
I can't imagine how the coaches feel. Very few liked recruiting before the transfer portal and NIL era and I imagine even less like it now.
If I were a college football coach, I would be inclined to spend my time recruiting off of other programs' rosters and the transfer portal. I wouldn't waste much of my time recruiting high school players.
Even the guys who thrive as freshmen and sophomores are going to hit the portal for paydays so I would let other programs deal with that and just try to pick off the good ones.
And yes, I agree with those that argue the transfer portal needs to be addressed because it's 24/7 free agency. As for contracts, that seems to be a bit more complicated because it implies "employment" status.

Everyone is fully aware of the NIL HS package Missouri recruits can receive if they sign with an in-state P4 school.
