I have a huge nutsedge problem in my garden. It’s growing all around my knock out roses, Purple Hearts and jasmine. Anything I can spray that won’t harm the other plants? I can’t keep up with it by pulling anymore.

We use a product called sedge hammer. Works well. Need to stay on top of applications. Relieve we bought from Amazon. I add in a little 2,4D to it as well.

But if it’s near other leafy plants I believe you’d be fine with just normal sedgehammer and apply liberally.

Glyphosate. Go to the co-op, Tractor Supply, Rural King, or buy it off Amazon. Don't buy Round-up. It isn't worth a damn anymore since they took the glyphosate out of it.

Just put a piece of scrap cardboard between your desirable plants and that damn nutsedge and soak it.

Also, don't pull nutsedge, ever. It encourages it to spread.

You can pull it if you get the nut out. I did it in my raised beds.
