Moving into a new house and need to buy new french door fridge. Any recommendations on a solid brand? Budget up to $3000.

Just bought the Bosch 800 series. Happy with it so far.

We just purchased a fridgedaire pro. Seems to be a good one so far.
I was encouraged to stay away from Samsung and LG from the experts.

thats true, when you get a good one they are great, but if you get a bad one its a royal PITA dealing with getting repairs and/or replacements
i also recommend frigidaire window units as well as refrigerators for the same reasons

Not a French door, but I've got a Whirlpool side by side I've had since after Katrina and the only thing I've had to do is replace the icemaker once.
I've got no complaints with their product.

Lol at thinking you can get whatever you want when you want. Better see what’s in stock baw before you get disappointed.

We have the Bosch French door with freezer on bottom. Happy with it except when we pull the ice drawer out to fill up a small ice chest and put it back in, it stops making ice. I have to pull it out of the cabinet and unplug it, wait a few mins and plug it back in. No idea why it does this but it maybe user error.

We had a Thermador in our house when we bought it. Was less than 4 years old when we moved in. Had a lot of issues and had to replace within a couple of years.
Appliance repairman said he makes a living off thermador; they tend to have lot of issues.

Do NOT buy a Samsung, unless you like taking a hair dryer to your icemaker once a week, to keep it working.
I love the fridge...ice maker is shite.

Don't buy a Samsung, I have one. It's a POS in my opinion. Made with cheap plastic parts that keep breaking. The ice maker is the worst of all.

I strongly advise sticking with GE, Whirlpool, or Maytag appliances. They are reliable and support exists if they malfunction. In other words you won't be buying a new frig or waiting for weeks to months if something goes wrong with it.
Samsung, LG, and others are nightmares. One of my best friends family business is an electrical, electronics, and appliance parts hub for contractors and repairmen. They all swear by the GE, Maytag, and Whirlpool. I have always followed their advise and have never had a problem.
