That's where I'd put the antifreeze.

Whatever it was in antifreeze that would kill them is no longer put in there.

I’d trap them and relocate to a rural area with no homes near.

But if they do, its a felony in many states. We have 2 cats that we didn't want. We got them neutered and they stay around the house, outside. However, there are feral cats down the road that come around and fight ours every so often. I know when they have been around cause they leave a stink. I really don't know what I would do if someone complained about ours. I guess I would volunteer to trap whatever cat is causing the problem. If I found it was ours...idk. If I found it was one of the feral cats I'd take it to the pound. Fricking cats - if they are inside you have to have them declawed and then essentially not let them out...fricking worthless animals.

Yep,

You'll need the ethanol glycol old school (still available) version.

I have 2 useless inside dogs. House is on 3 acres that is unfenced or I would go get the meanest Sob at the shelter.

I had a 15 lb terrier mutt that would murder cats if it caught ahold of them. it doesn't have to be a big dog.

I have used cat repellent from Lowe’s and Amazon. Citronella oil, mothballs and cayenne pepper powder. NOTHING works.
I have posted about this very topic numerous times when asked because of the experiences I have with my neighbor. She is a cat hoarder and works at a shelter so she brings them home to roam outside ALL THE TIME. I have spent the past 4 years arguing with her, contacting the parish, animal trappers, etc. I have cats shitting on my lawn, running on my roof, killing birds and leaving them on my doorstep, jumping on my vehicles and scratching them.

It's out of control and the parish won't be a damn thing so i have tried every trick in the book to remove them.
Cayenne, moth balls, motion sprinklers, nails on top the fence, a dog. You name it, i've tried it. I will say without any doubt, the only method is tuna and a trap. that is the ONLY way you will get rid of these cats. Trap them and relocate them VERY FAR AWAY. I've trapped atleast 6 of them and i'm still working on more.

Switching gears here: what should I do about a neighbor’s shitty German Shepard mutt? They let it roam in their acre yard all day/majority of the night and it barks at everything, and try’s to get out and attack. Owner’s have been spoken to by me and several other neighbors. They’re terrible owners & don’t care, & the city or animal control won’t do anything about it.

Time for a silenced 22, or a poisoned steak thrown over their fence?

This actually happened to my dad. (well, dog wasn't running "free")

His house sits on the main road. Along side his house runs a subdivision. The sub is not directly behind his house, but it's behind and to the side.

He constantly had cats coming in his yard. The dog would bark as she is in her fenced in area and the cats would be on the outside.
My dad runs/jogs daily on the subdivision road with his dog. The dog has never been aggressive towards people/strangers, so often times he would run without a leash and the dog would remain on his side. He has been doing this for at least 2 years at this point.

He knew where the cats were coming from and spoke with the "owner" in the subdivision. He politely asked that she keep the cats out of his yard because it makes his dog bark. The following day my dad goes for his jog, and 3 sheriff's deputies pull into his drive.
He was given a warning because he ran with his dog without a leash thus breaking a local ordinance for "at large" dogs.

He explained that he knew who had called and the cat situation.
He was told to call and complain about it and then they would be able to do something because the same ordinance applies to cats.

There was a black cat roaming around my yard pretty regularly when I moved in back in may, shitting everywhere, crawling on the car etc.

Have a 2 year old GSP and let's just say the problem took care of itself pretty quickly.

Legit think a dog is your best bet OP, get any kind of athletic trainable dog and you won't have an issue with them running off if they're a pup and you train them even half arsed.

Good genes go a long way. A mutt from the shelter, no guarantees on it sticking around.

Excellent idea. But keep in mind, cat people do not like not having cats. It will be like trapping and relocating squirrels. The effort may become futile.

Trap then put a convincing note attached to its collar that it may be in the owners best interest to not let the cat roam.

Be careful what you do to a mans pet. I'm not a cat guy but I would frick you up if it was my pet.

If you let you "pet" fun free then you get what you deserve. FYI, you better check them knuckles before you attempt the frick up part.

I’d be reluctant to shoot them with .22,cats can be hard to kill unless you hit them just right in the brain,so I’ve been told.Cats going home with bullet holes might cause issues.
Tylenol ground to powder and mixed with canned cat food works good,so I’ve been told.
I live in the country which is a PIA in some ways but I’m glad I don’t have issues with stray animals.Where I live I can deal with them by whatever means I feel necessary.

As far as I'm concerned, at this point all options would be on the table.
