Looks like what Hansel and Gretal were going to be roasted in.

The grey floor is the worst part of that pic. I don't get the grey thing. stove looks gay as well.

Priced for European markets where folks don’t move around as much and when they do, the take appliances like this with them.

La cornue are as much a part of the design as the cabinets. Not sure how they perform when compared to a wolf range, thermador or a top of the line GE.

Also, not so versatile when doing a kitchen remodel as you essentially have to coordinate everything around the stove.

They’re dope. My next kitchen remodel will include one.

I like them without the copper, but just my opinion.

People who have them seem to really enjoy it, but they cook a lot and were willing to invest in a range.

I had one in my old house in BR and it’s still one of my favorite things I’ve ever had in a house. It worked well and no one came over without commenting on how beautiful it was in person.

ETA: like someone else said, I designed my kitchen around it.

Looks great now. Will look cheesy and dated in 10 years.

1) isn’t that the case with most kitchen appliances? Leading people to update their kitchens and buy new stuff every 15 or so years?

2) No one thinks they look cheesy In Europe where they’ve been using this look for decades. I would defer to European style far before the fad driven and gaudy taste that drives American style which changes every 5 minutes. European design tends to be more timeless.

Not "french country" or "farmhouse". Where's the kitchen sign supposed to go?

Not a fan of that particular one pictured. My MIL just talked my FIL into getting one and it looks really good in their kitchen. She was also pretty excited about the performance of it too. Not sure if they're known for having exceptional performance, but I thought a kitchen range was a range?

Pretty, as long as you’re outfitting a showplace kitchen that is rarely used, and one that you don’t have to expend the elbow grease to clean. Way too many cracks and crevices to catch grease and schmuts in all of that pretty trim.

I’m team Blue Star bc I like function first. Though you can get a custom BS in something like 200 different colors.
