I saw one hanging around my hibiscus a week or so before the freeze but haven't seen any since but I don't have any flowers left.

Many photos of hb on the Louisiana gardeners FB group this weekend. I’d say they’re arriving now.

According to ebird, this year must have been a great year for hummingbirds, because I've seen reports of broad-tailed, rufous, Allen's, calliope, Black-chinned, broad-billed, and buff-bellied in Louisiana this year.

My wife leaves a few feeders out year round. Has numerous hummingbird and butterfly attracting plant all over. Many are not in bloom yet.
We’ve been having a few Rufous hummingbirds hanging around all winter.
Haven’t seen any Ruby Red throats yet. When they show up we’ll have about a dozen feeders out.

We saw one ruby red throated, yesterday. He came up within an hour of putting our feeders out for the first time this year. Prairieville

Should be - they migrate the same time as the teal.

After reading the responses we went ahead and put out two feeders this morning. Within a few hours we had a scout, too.

Had 2 throughout the freeze and we have had more (At most 3-4) activity during this warm up period. 2 Feeders out, older neighborhood. Wife (No pics) works at home so she sees them often.
