re: Golf Digest top 100 courses - Louisiana - mswiggins
We’re from BR so I guess it’s non resident. It’s on their website.
Call TPC and find out. I think resident rate is for anyone in Louisiana. "Rate only applies to Louisiana residents, Louisiana ID must be presented to be valid. Rates may vary." "golf shop 504-436-8721 x218"...
We had a group of 12 and were going to book 3 morning tee times June and they’re $240 each.
Are those non resident rates? Resident rates are much less. ...

re: Golf Digest top 100 courses - Louisiana - mswiggins
If they are going to drastically go up in price on a permanent basis they are going to lose a lot of people.
I think TPC is trying to have more tee times available for out of town people who pay the highest rate. But the annual pass went from $3000 a year to $4000 a year. Plus ...

re: Golf Digest top 100 courses - Louisiana - mswiggins
I also don't think that is TPC Louisiana pictured.
I believe that is an old picture of 18 at TPC. The bunkers are different now and you don't have that big mound about 50 yards short of the green. TPC has gone up on big time on membership fees and it appears on everyday green...

re: U.S. counties with two county seats. - mswiggins
Coffee County, Alabama
This isn't correct. Coffee County has one county seat. The first county seat was in Wellborn. After the courthouse was destroyed by fire in 1851, the county seat was moved to Elba. There may be some County Government buildings in the larger city of En...

re: Post Office Stories - whatcha got - mswiggins
Some friends sent us a card by USPS mail. It took 15 days to go less than 10 miles. It didn't have to leave the Parish. But I also got a USPS priority mail package that went from Oregon to SE Louisiana in 3 days....

re: Zurich weather (not looking good) - mswiggins
I am volunteering Friday and Saturday, so of course it calls for rain. Rain makes for super long days. You are there from sun up to sun down. In the 6 years or so, there has only been one year with no weather issues. ...

re: Best spots to “post up” at TPC Louisiana for the Zurich. - mswiggins
The course is really flat, so IMHO your best bet is to camp out somewhere where you can get close to a green. You can put a chair down close to #1 green and the players will walk right next to you to get to #2 tee. I have spent a lot of time at the #1 green, but I am volunteering. I also l...

re: 2021 Zurich Classic - no players committed yet? - mswiggins
Anyone know when the final lineup is posted for the Zurich?
I believe that players have until this Friday to commit to the tournament, so the list won't be finalized until Friday night/Saturday morning. Don't look for Brooks Koepka to play. He is taking time off again. ...

re: What is the fan attendance status for The 2021 Zurich? - mswiggins
The want alternate shot on Sunday because it brings bogies into the equation and makes for more excitement. If someone has a big lead in the best ball round, it is hard to catch them. It also makes for quicker rounds with only two balls in play per group....

Kill poison ivy that keep coming back? - mswiggins
I am sure this has been covered, but the search function is lacking. I have poison ivy in the back of my property that just keeps coming back. I have used Roundup, Roundup for poison ivy and other week killers. The poison ivy will die, but then will come back. Here it is spring and the gra...

re: Any of you guys use the Dr. Squatch men products? - mswiggins
The Dr. Squatch pine tar soap is really nice, but it is expensive and it turns the wash clothe dark from the charcoal in it. I received some bars as a gift and enjoyed them. I cut the bar into 3 pieces to help it last longer, but it still doesn't last long enough for the money. ...
