What y'all got for dallisgrass in the lawn? I've found nothing that will kill it without killing the lawn short of digging up each plant.

Do you lay pre-emergent twice/year?

I'm about to hit it with Celsius.
I've tried pre emergents, glyphosate (in winter after grass is dormant) and straight-up pulling it. Nothing works on that shite weed

Dig it up from the root. Nothing kills that shite.

Dig it out or Glyphosate carefully applied.
Celsius will stunt it, but not kill it.
If you are a golf course, sod farm, or athletic field you could also use MSMA.

Pre ems don’t work. You’ll have to dig it out.

This is the only way if you don’t use glyphosate. No pre-emergent works on Dallisgrass.

Thank y'all for your feedback, even if it confirmed my fears. I guess I'll just have to keep digging, cussin' and learning new cuss words.

You can listen to this song while your digging to help the time go by

What kind of grass do you have? Sethoxidym will do a good job on in and doesn’t harm centipede. Will kill other grasses though.

No pre-emergent works on Dallisgrass.

Pre em. It appears on the dimension label but only for seedlings. I don't count that as working as a pre em because the second the barrier breaks down you'll have new Dallisgrass plants. This is due to how long it will go to seed.

Which one? Please help me out. I’ve sprayed prodiamine, Specticle flo and neither stops it.

Msma, if not that a mix of tricypolr, fuilsade 2, and roundup. When using that mix you have to paint it on the weed

This has worked for helping transition a small piece of land I own from 60%-70% dallisgrass into a bermuda sod farm. The transition is almost complete.

Don’t use a shovel, use a post hole digger. Easier work and less soil to replace. I’m currently in a war with the shite in my yard. It needs to be nuked but I’m gonna have fun with it, see what i can do
