Battery powered tools: Ryobi vs. Kobalt

Looking for personal experience because they seem pretty even in my research. This is what I’ve found:
Ryobi:
One+ system allows battery use on a much broader range of tools than Kobalt.
Kobalt: generally more powerful with a better warranty (5 years vs. 3 years).
Both are made in China/Asia, but both are also highly rated and inexpensive. I’m not a DIY, always in the shop guy. I just want something that works well when I need it and is adaptable. Links are for blowers that I’m considering to get started with.

I have many Ryobi 18v+ tools and the only one that failed was a sprayer.
Have: drill, impact driver, reciprocating saw, mini skil saw, and leaf blower.
Also I have an 80V Kobalt chainsaw and 80V weedeater. Both are very powerful.

Check out the Craftsman V20 tools. They have a ton of tools for that system and not particularly expensive. I have the Dewalt 20V tools and they are great but dang they are high. For what I use them for I should have started a Craftsman collection instead.

I went with Ryobi several months ago and purchased 9 of their 18v tools for around the house. I had a 40v weed eater and added the hedge trimmer attachment for it as well.
I donated a 40v blower and weed eater to someone as the weed eater was Pure D shite. Blower was fine, just did not want all different tools and batteries to keep up with.

Metabo HPT is probably a better tool value there, if I was looking for something to keep in the shop for occasional use but also something I could count on (and I wasn't already knee deep in DeWalt and Milwaukee systems) I would go there, Makita, or maybe Flex.

I was gifted a few Ryobi tools in the early 2010s as a house warming gift so I've just stuck with them. Only had one spotlight fail and I dropped in a brackish duck pond so not the lights fault.
No complaints for light use around the house and camp.

I have dewalt and Milwaukee. But if I had to choose between the 2 listed I’m picking ryobi. They have a broader selection of tools and you can get deals thru out the year

Pretty deep in Ryobi (without super extensive research) and have never had any issues. Have a pretty good variety and long term. Just anecdotally.
