Anyone have any remedies for fruit flies?

I know, we are nasty, but these little things are difficult to get rid of no matter how clean we keep the kitchen.
I bought one of the blue light things from Home Depot but it's pretty useless. Anyone have anything that works?

Plastic Water bottle, plastic straw, apple cider vinegar
Poke a hole all the way through the bottle for the straw to fit. Cut a small v notch in the straw. Stick it through the whole so the notch points down. Fill with vinegar about 1/3.
Fruit flies will go in and can't get out.

Small glass jar, apple vinegar with a little bit of dish soap, cover in suran wrap and poke holes with ice pick. Let it set by your sink.

Little red apple fruit fly traps at Home Depot work great

Don’t even have to poke holes. Put ACV and couple drops of dawn dish soap and mix. Leave out. They can’t fly out once their legs get in it.

Yeah. The little red apples work well. Not sure if it was a coincidence of throwing out all fruit but mine were gone 2 days after putting the apple traps out. It's just vinegar in them also. Not sure if it's concentrated or anything.

glass of red wine with a few drops of dawn dish soap. leave it out for a few nights and you should catch a few.

the drains need to be cleaned out a few times. vinegar, bleach, hot water. pour and let it do it's thing for about 15 minutes. repeat about 3 times and it should kill the larva

This. You can catch as many as u want but they won’t leave until you kill the source.

Make sure you don’t have any old potatoes, onions, etc etc somewhere stored you forgot about. Order a can of PT Alpine fly bait. Spray the area you typically see them or the kitchen window area. Use it like a cologne, less is more. If you see a drip while spraying you’re wasting it.

I bought a bottle of the "Fruit Fly Goodbye" gel from Amazon a couple of weeks ago and it knocked my problem out pretty quickly. I just wasn't having much luck with the apple cider vinegar and dawn liquid trap. I would get a few each night, but they were still around. Once I cleaned my drains, my problem was solved within a couple of days.

Terro plastic apple on Amazon. Worked like a champ. We were overrun with fruit flies before.

Consecutively or over a few days?
We've managed to get the numbers down by deep cleaning the sink every night, then closing the drain (single drain/disposal sink). In the morning we will do our normal routine with running water, cleaning dishes with sink clogged; then unplug and let that flush down. Reclose drain when we leave for work.
I don't have anymore right now, but we found tropical/coconut scented candles would draw them in. They would get stuck in the liquid wax. Have not found any other scents to work.

DO NOT MIX VINEGAR AND BLEACH. This will create chlorine gas
