Wegovy price

Anyone has any tips/tricks if their insurance is not paying for their Wegovy prescription on how to not pay the full price out of pocket? I know Wegovy has a manufacturer coupon that brings the price down to $650 for a month supply but that’s all I’ve been able to find

Use a compounding pharmacy. Same ingredients. Just as safe. WAY less in cost.

This. Even Hims uses a compounding pharmacy and doesn't sell you the branded stuff. You just have to be able to figure out how to draw the dose and poke yourself with a tiny, tiny, tiny, needle.
ETA: It's about on the level of difficulty of using a protein shaker. Stupid easy.

My insurance still covers Wegovy, but they moved it from a Tier II to a Tier III drug making the cost out of reach for me. Even with the coupon it makes it almost $500 a month.
Talked to my doc yesterday about the compounding pharmacy and she told me that at 2mg dose a month would cost $230. Definitely more reasonable, but still expensive.

Think about losing 20 pounds in 6-8 weeks. I blow close to $230 a month on gas driving 15 miles to work in traffic to get on Teams calls.

It's definitely doable...but I was paying $29 a month. So it is a serious increase for me.

QSC has Tirz right now for around $175 for 10x 10ml vials.
I just checked and as of December their Semaglutide was 10x 5ml vials for $90.
Most people find Tirz more effective with less side effects.

Nobody has better prices/deals on peptides and AAS than QSC (that I have seen), but unfortunately their status as a company is in limbo at the moment and they aren't taking orders. They've gone dark for now. I hope it's not for good, but if it is I'm sure some other company will fill the void.

You must not be familiar with the process so you can keep your thoughts to yourself.
And no, I’m not on it.

Absolutely not. This couldn’t be more false.
If someone is interested we exchange emails and I give them the number to my clinic and we arrange a telemedicine visit and I prescribe it. There are a handful of posters that I have helped that way.

No, you're just being a protectionist cockhole. Do you think therapy over telehealth is bullshite too? You're not really getting help unless you're watching the shrink fall asleep in the same room while you're talking?
